THESMOS means the framework that protects. Discover the idea behind our name.
The concept of THESMOS
An institution — thesmos, in Greek — is the framework that allows people to function in safety. In ancient Greece, among others, two institutions that are pillars of modern civilisation were born: democracy and justice. The Θ in our logo carries this heritage — and translates it into the present.
THESMOS was founded by two lawyers with a shared philosophy and vision. Together they are building an institution in the deepest sense of the word — a framework that protects its clients.
